Our itinerary map

Our first stop towards Barossa valley from Adelaide was Williamstown, located 50km outside of Adelaide. Here you have the Whispering Wall a reservoir built over 100yrs ago, open to visitors from 9AM to 5PM. Today its popular for its its unique magical feature: words whispered at one side can be clearly heard at the other, more than 140 metres away (Go see yourself!). You have to actually follow the sign boards to reach to the wall… the GPS doesn’t help much.

Barossa Valley has around 150 wineries. Each winery has its own unique style, its hard to choose the winery. We stopped at Jacob’s creek Cellar door , Tanunda and Seppeltsfield. At Seppeltsfield you can taste your birth year port, which is a unique experience.

Our last stop was Maggie Beers Farm shop/Cafe. Here you can have delicious food from farm fresh ingredients or shop at their shop and enjoy the beautiful location or experience free daily demonstrations. This place is a complete package in itself.

Other place to visit in and around Adelaide : Zapata’s Mexican Restaurant for delicious food ,A german town Hahndorf ,
