The Hike passes through beautiful mosey vegetation , animal habitats like wombat and echidna and wombat burrow.
Crater falls Mossy crater lake track
Once we pass through the mossy dense rainforest by the side of the creek, rockpools through Crater Falls, we reach the shores of Crater lake. You will also see a boatshed amidst the blue lake.
Once we continue the circuit it ascends to Marions lookout where we will have breathtaking View of Lake Lilla and Dove lake. This elevation has changing weather conditions and one should be prepared with right equipment. From here you can descent Via Wombat poo , then either go back to Ronny creek or pass via Lake Lilla and then to Dove lake car park.
Note: When you start the hike from Ronny Creek there is also a short hike to Waldheim lookout which is 10 min from Ronny creek car park.
